Fitness for Kids Challenge

The Fitness for Kids Challenge, an Independent Health Foundation program, is a community-wide initiative in Western New York to combat the rising rates of obesity in our children. This program challenges every elementary school child to increase their physical activity and make good nutrition choices. Since the beginning of this initiative in 2008, the Foundation has reached more than 150,000 children in more than 300 schools. More than $80,000 has been awarded to participating schools and another $20,000 will be awarded this year!

BUFFALO BILLS PLAY 60 CHALLENGE! The Independent Health Foundation and the Buffalo Bills are proud to announce that we will be partnering together to offer year-round opportunities for local students to be more physically active and make healthier eating choices by participating in the Independent Health Foundation's Fitness for Kids Challenge and the Buffalo Bills NFL Play 60 Challenge.
